About the ICMB 2026
The International Conference of Medical Breakthrough (ICMB) is a premier biennial platform hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. We unite global researchers, clinicians, and innovators to translate cutting-edge biomedical research into transformative, real-world healthcare solutions.
Background
Non-communicable diseases account for 74% of global deaths, with 77% occurring in developing nations (WHO). This burden strains health systems that must deliver more care with limited resources. Through AI-driven diagnostics and interoperable health data systems, digital health innovation offers a clear path toward early detection and equitable care. ICMB 2026 examines how to move these tools from promise to practice.
