Transforming Biomedical and Clinical Practice through Digital Health Innovation
Background
Non-communicable diseases are responsible for 74% of deaths globally, and 77% of these occur in developing countries (WHO). This burden strains health systems that must deliver more care with limited resources.
Digital health innovation — from AI-assisted diagnostics to interoperable health data systems — offers a path to earlier detection, better chronic disease management, and more equitable access to care. ICMB 2026 examines how these tools can move from promise to practice.
